STARPOUR is made by Powell Lines LLC ("Powell Play", "we"). This page explains what the game stores and why.
What we store
- Your player: a randomly generated player name (or one you choose), and a private code that identifies this device's player. You never give us an email or password to play.
- Your progress: levels, stars, Glow, hints, vial styles, your daily streak and the date of your last daily puzzle. It is kept on our server so it follows you to other devices.
- Purchases: what you bought, when, and the store's transaction id, so we can unlock it and honour refunds. We never see or store card details.
- How the game is played: sessions, levels finished, hints used and errors, with the date and time. We use these only to improve the game, and keep them for 180 days (errors for 90 days).
- Country: the country your connection comes from, as told to us by our network provider. Your IP address is used briefly to stop abuse and is not stored.
Settings such as sound and vibration stay on your device. There are no ads in this version, and no third-party trackers. The game loads its fonts from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address as part of the normal web request (Google's privacy policy).
Sign in with Powell Play
Signing in is optional. You sign in with your face or fingerprint, or an email code; there is no password. If you sign in with Powell Play, we receive your Powell Play ID, username and avatar from Powell Lines LLC. Powell Play may also send your confirmed email address; STARPOUR does not use, store or share it, and drops it as soon as the sign-in is checked. If you disconnect the game or delete your Powell Play account, we stop using them and remove them from STARPOUR. If you ask Powell Play to delete your data in every connected game, we delete your STARPOUR data too. Powell Play's own privacy policy: powellplay.com/privacy.
Children
STARPOUR is meant for players aged 13 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Your choices
You can delete your STARPOUR data at any time on the Delete my data page. Your recovery code (Settings) gets you back into your player on another device.
